The Senior Circuit Test Engineer is a technical leader responsible for driving the strategy, development and optimization of test processes across complex electronic assemblies. This role provides advanced engineering expertise, mentors team members and ensures robust, scalable and compliant test solutions that support product quality and manufacturing efficiency. The position serves as a key interface between engineering, operations and customers.
Lead the development and execution of comprehensive test strategies for complex products and manufacturing processes
Own full lifecycle test engineering activities, including design for test (DFT), equipment selection, programming, validation and production support
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to test engineers, establishing standards and elevating team capabilities
Conduct and lead design reviews to ensure testability, reliability and manufacturability
Define and implement best practices, test methodologies and engineering guidelines
Develop, program and troubleshoot ICT, Flying Probe and Boundary Scan test solutions
Analyze test data, identify failure trends and drive root cause and corrective actions
Collaborate cross-functionally with design engineering, manufacturing, quality and customers to resolve complex technical challenges
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards, including proper hazardous material handling
Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma and DOE methodologies
Requirements:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or MSEE)
6+ years of experience in test engineering within electronics manufacturing environments
Deep expertise in ICT, Flying Probe and Boundary Scan technologies, including programming, fixturing and troubleshooting
Strong understanding of design for test (DFT) principles and manufacturing test processes
Proven ability to solve complex technical problems and lead projects independently
Proficiency in engineering tools, simulation software and test system design
Ability to read, interpret and analyze engineering drawings and schematics
Strong technical documentation and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in ISO-regulated or highly regulated industries (e.g., aerospace, defense, medical)
Working knowledge of DOE, Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles
Experience with test automation and data analysis tools
