Seeking a Bankruptcy Attorney which can meet the highest standards of excellence and serving clients, and who wants to be part of an established and dynamic legal firm. Litigation Experience a plus. Experience working in a large law firm.
Strong academic credentials and excellent oral and written communication skills are
required.
Responsibilities
- Represent clients in bankruptcy proceedings
- Draft and file bankruptcy petitions, schedules, and other forms
- Attend court hearings with clients
- Advise clients on bankruptcy laws and their rights
- Negotiate with creditors on behalf of clients
- Conduct research on bankruptcy and financial law
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders
Requirements
- Active license to practice law in the state
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bankruptcy law
- Knowledge of federal bankruptcy laws, including Chapter 7 and Chapter 13
Other States for this position include: New York, Delaware, Maryland, Texas, and Florida.
The salary range for this position is $200,000 to $315,000.
